"Was a customer for lots of years. Was looking at buying a new vehicle. They gave me a quote for $87.35, in writing. Then charged me $155.77. When I questioned my bill, they couldn't explain it to me for 2 weeks. I realized I had been overcharged, but they were not willing to fix the error. So I canceled my policies and went elsewhere. I canceled at the end of January. I was told it would take up to 2 weeks to receive my refund. Despite many phone calls and it being over a month, I've received no refund."

"Every single time i have this business take care of something for me it is done wrong. I am beyond frustrated as to why this keeps happening. I have been with State Farm for 44 years and this is unacceptable. Maybe its time to find a new agent."

"Snowmobile quote was great. Policy was set up, cards issued, premium paid........the cancelled! You'd think that all the background stuff would be done BEFORE issuing the policy! Seems like a great way to cost customers!"

"I was really happy initially during the quote process and setting up my home owners insurance policy. They had great coverage and were easy to work with when getting a quote. However, that's where the good things stop. Turns out they'll just say anything to get a sale and then will screw you over and increase your premium later. I have t-lock shingles, which I know are difficult to cover. So when getting quotes I was up front about the shingles and verified with the agent THREE TIMES that they'd be able to cover the t-lock shingles. They assured me they could, but the underwriters required a higher deductible. We also added the auto-homeowners bundle since my husband has a auto insurance policy through them. The policy is with another agent and when we discussed it, they said that was fine and wouldn't be an issue for the discount. Fast forward to a week or two into our policy. I get a call saying that they don't cover t-lock shingles and we need to replace our roof out of pocket. I sent them the confirmation from their agent I had in writing stating that they'd cover the roof with my t-lock shingles. They said the policies of the underwriters changed and now it's' not covered. Really?!? A week or so into the policy after I checked 3 different times that the t-lock shingles specifically would be covered something magically changed?? Then a few months in, we get a letter that our premium is increasing because they're removing the auto-homeowners bundle. Called them to find out why since we have an auto policy with state farm. They said that for the bundle, the policies have to be with the same agent. That is directly opposite to what the agent told me when getting the quote. They said it wouldn't matter if the auto policy was with a different agent during the quote process. I'm so fed up. They have lied to me countless times about things I was specifically asking about and clarifying. Even when I have proof in writing they don't honor their word. I will absolutely be switching policies to find an honest insurance company who doesn't lie and increase my premiums and/or change my coverage every few months."

"Great customer service from all staff! I am from out of state and needed to get insurance in ND for my daughter who is a student at NDSU. All work was done remotely. I worked with different staff members but always received top shelf customer service as well as consistent answers from all involved. Well trained staff in both content and customer service. Exceeded expectations and highly recommend!"
